Mayank leads the Business Insights & Analytics function for US at Takeda Oncology with the mandate to support Medical, Patient Value and Access, Sales, and Marketing.

The functions remit includes forecasting, competitive intelligence, primary research, secondary brand insights, payer and managed market analytics, incentive compensation, real world data and analytics, decision sciences, and related data acquisition, cataloging and curation.

Before Takeda, Mayank was with Melinta Therapeutics, as Vice President, Commercial Strategy, Analytics and Operations, and oversaw the commercial strategy, commercial analytics, sales and marketing operations, and business planning functions.

Prior to Melinta Therapeutics, Mayank held various roles at Pfizer for 14 years mainly within the insights and analytics area. In his most recent roles at Pfizer, he served as a director and team lead on the Global Commercial Excellence team, supporting business assessment, planning and post-approval commercialization of Pfizer’s oncology assets. Before that he led the Advanced Analytics team focusing on forecasting, market insights, salesforce sizing and incentive compensation, data stewardship, performance analytics and digital acceleration of salesforce.

Mayank received his Master of Science in Data Science, with a concentration in Health Analytics from Columbia University, and his MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from Johnson and Wales University.
